Losing
I lost free flowing words -
My mind settled patterns of thought
Were carved in stone winds
Raged across barren plains
No trees grew, no life nor spring.
I found you -
Seeking touch I felt
Breath;
I lost you -
Dry tears fell.

Patient illumination seeps
Quiet drops distilling
My glow alights, waiting, growing
Warmth emerges caressing
Words can hold, lift, float
